Imane Djamil (b.1996, in Casablanca, Morocco) is a self-taught Morocco-based visual storyteller working on assignments and long term projects. She engages viewers in photographic projects imbued with the style of docudramas. Her works straddle the realistic and phantasmagoric.
She is a contributor to the New York Times, Le Monde, Bloomberg and Reuters among others and has co-founded KOZ collective with photographers M'hammed Kilito, Yasmine Hatimi and Seif Kousmate in 2020. She is currently an adjunct professor at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco.
